Cameron Lynch is an NFL veteran and media personality. A graduate of Syracuse University (with a bachelors degree in economics), Cameron recently played his fourth year in the NFL where during the span of his career he played with the Los Angeles Rams and Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Cameron entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent (where the chances of making a professional team are less than 1%), thanks to his grit, determination and uncommon mindset.
Â
While playing football, Cameron continued to enhance his off-the-field experience, landing on-camera opportunities with the NFL Network, Fox Sports, Players Tribune, and he was selected as one of four players to broadcast the Super Bowl in 2019. In 2019, he was named the interim co-host for NBC’s Daytime Show on WFLA Channel 8. While active on the Buccaneers, he was highly sought after and extended his media skills and abilities off the field. He made daily appearances on the popular Tampa radio station, 102.5 The Bone and made weekly call-ins to his alma mater’s (Syracuse’s) ESPN’s radio show.Â
Â
Skilled in content development, business acumen and telling engaging and informative stories, Cameron started his own media company, HeartWork Media. He also launched his very own podcast, Energy Captains, an honorary nickname he received at the Buccaneers.Â
Â
Off the field, Cameron has dedicated numerous hours to improving and uplifting the community. During the 2018 season, he was named the Bucs Community MVP multiple weeks and was a member of the Players’ Coalition, which was a small group of teammates that worked to unite neighborhoods and eradicate any racial injustices and inequalities. He also helped open the Wounded Warriors Abilities Ranch in St. Pete, FL, which provides sporting activities to veterans who were wounded in combat.
Born in Long Beach, Cameron is a true Californian. However, he later moved to Atlanta, where he spent a large part of his childhood. Cameron, who currently calls Tampa home, is one of the friendliest, biggest-hearted, funniest and most outgoing athletes you could ever meet.
